Chinese herbal medicine extract is refined from root, stem and leaves of plants, and contains high sugar which is easy melted at high temperature. Normal centrifugal spraying cannot meet these drying requirements, so we organized a group of technicians to develop such a dryer which specialize in Chinese herbal medicine extract through repeated calculations and many tests basis on our experience to make spraying dryer and collect advantages of same line of dryers from domestic and abroad.

Principle

Basic Principle: high-speed centrifuge atomizing for the extract of traditional Chinese medicine is an application of centrifuge atomizing technique. It is an high-speed atomizing dryer. The following problems are solved.
1. Raw material is stick to the wall and the rate of powder collecting is low.
2. Because the staying time of raw material at wall is long, the phenomenon of burnt and degeneration can be produced.
3. It is difficult to clean and can not meet the requirement of GMP
4.Low in output: Model LPG-150 atomizing centrifuge dryer can process 50-60kg/h of raw material liquid. In view of this, according to the properties and process requirements of the extract of traditional Chinese medicine, our factory researched and designed the special dryer for the extract of traditional Chinese medicine and won items of china patent.It solves the historical difficult problems in drying the extract of traditional Chinese medicine.The color of dried raw material is good.The dried raw material does not degenerate.It raises the economic benefit greatly.
 

Features

i. The diameter and height of tower have be modified, not only ensure that powder cannot reach at the wall of tower before drying, but also ensure that the powder will have enough dwelling time in hot air to complete low temperature drying. The wall of tower has sandwich cooling device to ensure liquid materials not to be softened, melt or coked when hey are stuck on the wall that has partial high-temperature. There is air shocker on the cone body which has larger and can pulsate the tube by compressed air to shake down powder which is stuck on the tube.

ii. All contact place inside the dryer have plain or round surface, and are ground and polished (fine polish over 10) to avoid sand hole and dead angle… The contact surface is made of stainless steel to ensure material free of pollution. The driving parts have good sealing to prevent water and oil. Material discharge is done by sealed butterfly valve to avoid air leaking. Discharge pipes are connected flexibly for easy dismantling in order.

iii. Three-stage air filters are used on air pre-treatment system and air can be purified up to 100 thousand level.

1.Liquid name and property: solid contents (or water contents), viscosity, surface tension and PH value.
2. Dry powder density residual water contents allowed, particle size, and maximum temperature allowed.
3. Output: shift time daily.
4. Energy that can be supplied: steam pressure, electricity properly, fuel of coal, oil and natural gas.
5. Control requirement: whether or not the inlet and outlet temperatures should be controlled. Powder collection requirement: whether it's necessary to use cloth bag filter and the requirement of the environment of the exhausted gas.
